Back for a limited return season, The Worst of Scottee see’s Time Out Performer of The Year encounter past flames, ex-friends and people who no longer like him in attempt to find out where he went wrong.
Everyone has done stuff they regret and most people bury it in the past, six months ago Scottee (BBC Loose Ends; Radio 1’s Fun and Filth Cabaret) hired a psychotherapist and a filmmaker to dig up his past.
We find out why he pretended to have AIDS, what prompted him to steal money from his Nan, why he told everyone his friend committed suicide when she hadn’t …and attempt to uncover what caused all this behaviour in the first place.
Performed in a photo booth you are exposed to four snap shots of his troublesome teens intertwined with performance responses that include aggressive tap dancing and performance poetry whilst choking on milk – its trademark Scottee mess and mayhem within a confessional booth. This show will give you reasons not to like him – it is Scottee at his very worst.

Scottee is a 27-year-old performer, director, artist, broadcaster and writer from Kentish Town, North London. He is a regular contributor for BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends, Huffington Post UK and i-D magazine. He is currently an associate artist at Olivier award winning company Duckie and the iconic Roundhouse.
He has wowed audiences at Barbican, Royal Opera House, Tate Britain, Roundhouse, ICA and Royal Festival Hall. As well as gracing the pages and airwaves of Guardian, Dazed & Confused, Radio 4, Independent, W, Radio 1 and Sunday Times Style he was included in i-D magazine’s 100portraits by Nick Knight, won the title of Time Out Performer of the Year and has grabbed the covers of both Time Out London & Independent on Sunday.
Chris Goode is a writer and maker working in theatre and live performance. He has amassed a significant body of unpredictable work in diverse formats and has been described as “one of the most exciting talents working in Britain today” (Guardian) and “an extremely highly regarded alternative theatre maker” (Caroline McGinn, Time Out).
His work has included two Fringe First award-winning shows: Neutrino (with Unlimited Theatre: Soho Theatre, London, and international tour), and his own solo debut Kiss of Life (Pleasance, Edinburgh; Drill Hall, London), which in 2007 travelled to Sydney Opera House as part of the Sydney International Festival.
In 2008 he won the inaugural Headlong / Gate New Directions Award for his production …Sisters at the Gate Theatre. More recently he was part of the international touring cast of Tim Crouch’s controversial and acclaimed play The Author – winner of the John Whiting Award and a Total Theatre Award for Innovation.
