Who is Ceili Pace?
I’m a mum and a wife first, always. I’m a theatre producer and a lifelong lover of anything that involves a stage, a story, or a bit of sparkle. I’m an ex-professional dancer and I’m still quietly (okay, not that quietly) obsessed with theatre and dance. I’ll never say no to Pilates or chocolate. I also came up through the Irish dance world, competing at the highest level, and that whole chapter shaped me – the grit, the discipline, the thrill of chasing something big. I carry all of that energy into what I do now.
What would you do differently from what you do now?
Honestly, I don’t spend much time wishing things were different. I love what I do – and I’ve worked really hard to build a life that feels full and meaningful. If anything, I’d probably slow down just a touch sometimes and give myself permission to celebrate the wins more while they’re happening, instead of racing straight to the next thing.
Who inspires you and why?
My kid and my husband. They’re the reason behind every big decision I make. They ground me, push me, and remind me what actually matters – even on the days when work is chaotic, and life is loud.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
One day I’d love to create a non-for-profit or charity that helps artists and athletes chase their dreams – especially people with the talent and drive, but not the financial backing. So much of success in these worlds comes down to access, and I’d love to be part of changing that.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
New York – for the theatre, obviously. There’s nothing like it. A beach holiday, always – pretty views, slow mornings, and a real reset. Italy – for the food, the wine, the energy… and the way every day feels like a celebration.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Either a beach day or a boat day – that’s always my go-to. It’s such an easy, beautiful way to experience the Gold Coast.
What are you currently reading?
If I’m being real, I’m not reading much right now. Between a three-year-old with a very full activity schedule, working full time, and travelling a lot for work, reading has slipped into the “later” category for this season of life. When I do read, I’m usually drawn to motivational autobiographies or something about finance and investing – I love learning how people build big lives and smart futures.
What are you currently listening to?
Musicals. Always. There’s never a time when a show tune doesn’t improve the mood.
Happiness is?
Living a content life – whatever that looks like for each individual. Not chasing someone else’s version of happiness, but finding the one that genuinely fits you.
What does the future hold for you?
I love the life I live, and I feel really grateful for it. I want the future to keep bringing me joy – more time with my family, continuing to work in theatre (because I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else), more travel, and more dreaming big. The goal is to keep building a life that feels exciting and aligned, while staying grounded in the things that matter most.
