Brisbane Street Art Festival returns for its 10th Anniversary

BSAF Madeleine Holt at RNA ShowgroundsContinuing its legacy as a premier platform for street art and public creativity, the Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) returns for its milestone 10th edition.

Over the past decade, BSAF has cemented its place as a highlight of Brisbane’s cultural calendar, drawing in thousands of attendees to witness large-scale mural installations, interactive workshops, and cutting-edge exhibitions.

The warehouse arts space, Superordinary, is proudly serving as the festival headquarters once again. Providing a creative hub where audiences can watch live art demonstrations, engage with artists and participate in workshops.

This year’s festival will see murals spread across Brisbane’s various iconic locations, including DFO Brisbane, Midtown Centre, Northshore and Spring Hill. Featuring works from some of the most influential street artists.

Be prepared to see the Northshore precinct transform with multiple murals, including a groundwork. Expect breathtaking contributions from Leans, Carley Cornelissen, Fintan Magee, Sofles, Dean Tyson, Rossella RZ and Simon Degroot – each bringing their unique style to the festival’s ever-growing legacy of public art.

BSAF Kaho Michishita at SuperordinaryThis year, BSAF is proud to present Meeting Of Styles – a world-renowned international graffiti initiative. Returning to Australia, this first-ever Brisbane iteration will take place on Saturday 10 May and Sunday 11 May in Superordinary at Northshore.

With 40 local and international graffiti artists in the line-up, Meeting Of Styles is a show of respect to the roots of the movement, and a major step forward in affirming graffiti as a vital part of BSAF’s story.

To mark this special occasion, on Saturday 10 May, BSAF will host a 10th Anniversary Event featuring an exhibit of the Brisbane / Meanjin Paste Up Festival. It will include a spectacular evening featuring live music, performances, and artist showcases, celebrating a decade of artistic expression and community engagement.

Join BSAF as they celebrate ten years of creativity and urban transformation. Watch as Brisbane’s streets come to life with striking new murals, and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of street art through workshops, and live performances.

Brisbane Street Art Festival acknowledges the traditional Custodians of the land in which we live and work. We recognise that these spaces have always been places of creation, teaching, and learning, particularly to the Turrbal and Jagera peoples, whose country the festival now stands.

Brisbane Street Art Festival understands that creativity and art have played, and continue to play, a very important role on these lands since time immemorial.

Brisbane Street Art Festival continues to Sunday 18 May 2025. For more information, including full program, visit: www.bsafest.com.au for details.
