Perth born and raised, Tory Kendrick, delved into the depths of the modern dating scene and has found that finding Somebody to Love is quite alot like going through the five stages of grief over and over and over again.
Join Tory in a hilarious evening, as she takes you through each stage with your favourite show tunes perfectly encapsulating those questionable dating moments we all know and love.
Coming from a musical theatre background, Tory graduated with her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts in 2020. Since then, she has taken the Perth performing arts scene by storm with everything from showgirls to podium, children’s characters to comedy and everything in between.
Tory has made a splash specifically in the Perth musical theatre scene appearing in Platinum Entertainment’s We Will Rock You (Teen Queen) and The Boy From Oz (dancer), HAMA Production’s Legally Blonde (Margot), The Little Mermaid (Atina) and Seussical (ensemble/US), Zealous Production’s Cinderella Pantomime (ensemble) and The Addams Family (Swing) and Drew Anthony Creative’s Grease (Patty Simcox) and Your Village Peeps (Contestant).
Not to mention originating the role of Glance Badgerstaine in Western Sky Project’s The Summer of Our Lives and appearing in productions of Mamma Mia (ensemble/swing), The Wizard Of Oz (Dorothy), Tony Galati The Musical (swing) and most recently joining the Tone Cheek production’s of Club D’Amour and Happy Endings as their featured vocalist.
More regularly, Tory can be found show girling with Excessive Productions, podium dancing with Lyons Productions and MCing for Top Shelf Entertainment and Family Rave Day. She has taken on the role of choreographer and performer in many projects with All Occasions Perth as they have moved into the corporate world with short performances at events and singing waiters.
The audiences of Perth and Adelaide couldn’t get enough of Tory’s charm and wit. Now it’s time for her to take on Melbourne with Somebody to Love.
