A playlist of playlists, an epic musical journey of 1000 songs in one hour awaits audiences of The Shuffle Show at Melbourne’s renowned The Butterfly Club this January for 3 nights only!
Musical comedians Elena Gabrielle and Grant Busé will showcase their musical skills, powerful chops and daggy dancing in the fast paced, high energy show, with everything from The Beatles to Beyonce, The Shuffle Show has something on its playlist for everyone – except One Direction fans – with medleys honouring the female behind, superstar divas and the perils of Melbourne weather.
Sound ridiculous? It is. Gabrielle and Busé make no secret that their inspiration is drawn from people’s favourite and embarrassing iTunes playlists, as well as the telecommunications industry.
Co-Writer, director and performer Gabrielle (Winner: Best Cabaret Sydney Fringe 2013), says the show’s plot ‘touches on a certain bar where apples are served’, but remained coy about the exact details.
“A lot of the show’s plot was inspired by my many years of work in the telecommunications field, my constant love of technology, and its ever changing face,” says Gabrielle.
“The Shuffle Show is one Cabaret event you need on your playlist, with laughter, dancing and earworms guaranteed.”
