The Naked Magicians

The Naked MagiciansIt’s the show that has everyone talking, and even Las Vegas is keen for a peek! After sold out shows at the Brisbane Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe in 2014, The Naked Magicians are returning to the Adelaide and other dates nationally.

The boisterous R-rated Magic show strips away the top hats and capes and stars two of Australia’s biggest names in magic, Christopher Wayne and Mike Tyler. The Naked Magicians’ unique interactive tricks are mind-boggling, entertaining and fabulously saucy, taking abracadabra to a whole new level – even Las Vegas wants in on this critically acclaimed show!

The show is the brainchild of Simon Painter who is behind the biggest magic show on the planet, The Illusionists. Painter met up with Wayne 2 years ago in Adelaide. They worked out the outline for the show on the premise: What if ‘Magic Mike’ actually had magic in it?

The creative team are quick to point out there will be nudity, but expect to be wowed by real magicians with years of practice and training behind them. “We like to think of our show as the True Blood of magic shows – a great balance between impressive magic tricks, comedy and gratuitous nudity that absolutely knocks people’s sock off,” said Christopher.

Prepare yourself for magic, hilarity and mayhem, and find out what everyone is talking about. The Naked Magicians will be performing at Gluttony – Adelaide Fringe (13 February – 1 March), Mount Gambier (3 March), Renmark (4 March), Brisbane (5 – 13 March), Cairns (14 March), Port Douglas (15 March), Townsville (17 March), Rockhampton (18 March), Gladstone (19 March), Mackay (20 March), Alice Springs (21 March); and Melbourne (27 March – 12 April).
