Tell Me On A Sunday

Presented by Michelle Guthrie Presents in association with Hayes Theatre Co, Erin Clare stars in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic musical Tell Me On A Sunday this April.

Tell Me On A Sunday is a one-woman show that charts the course of an English girl newly arrived in New York. Brimming with optimism, she sets out to seek success, companionship and, of course, love.

But as she weaves her way through the maze of the city and her own anxieties and heartaches, she begins to wonder whether – in fact – she’s been looking for love in all the wrong places.

Following in the footsteps of Bernadette Peters, Gaye MacFarlane, Sarah Brightman, Betty Buckley and Marti Webb, the wonderful Erin Clare will be next to conquer one of Musical Theatre’s dream roles, that will be Directed by Blazey Best with Guy Simpson as Musical Supervisor.

Erin has recently been seen as Doralee in 9 to 5, Scaramouche in We Will Rock You, Heather McNamara in Heathers and Countess Charlotte in A Little Night Music.

“I am beyond delighted to breathe new life into such an iconic role, with a score so rich in detail, it has truly stood the test of time,” said Erin Clare. “I couldn’t be more honoured and excited to work with this team of creatives.”

Featuring a six piece band, this award-winning musical contains the hit numbers Take That Look Off Your Face, Capped Teeth and Caesar Salad, It’s Not the End of the World, Nothing Like You’ve Ever Known and Tell Me On A Sunday.

This much-loved show is brought to the Hayes by producer Michelle Guthrie (Nice Work If You Can Get It, Well Behaved Women).
