An exciting evening of new short dance pieces created by five of Melbourne/Naarm’s freshest choreographic talents, Stephanie Lake Company presents ESCALATOR at the Abbotsford Convent from 16 August 2023.
Be taken on a wild journey via the brains and bodies of our commissioned artists to unexpected places in the stunning spaces of the Convent.
ESCALATOR showcases the humour, depth, provocations, and sophistication of some of the city’s most interesting and diverse dance voices.
Curated by Stephanie Lake Company, the performance features choreographers: Harrison Ritchie-Jones, Melissa Pham, Jayden Wall Luke Currie Richardson, Kady Mansour, and Kayla Douglas. Lighting Design and Production by Rachel Lee.
