Go behind the scenes of a blockbuster motion picture and explore set pieces, costumes and elaborate props direct from the studio set as Warner Bros. Movie World presents, for a limited time this Summer, Aquaman – The Exhibition.
Directed by James Wan, Aquaman (starring Jason Momoa) is an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry – taking him on the journey of his lifetime – one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
The exhibition features signature set-pieces, props and costumes from the film including those worn by Momoa and Amber Heard as Mera. Also on display is over 20 weapons including the well recognised Atlanna’s Trident, Manta’s Harpoon and Mera’s Harpoon.
Set against intricate backdrops, guests will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with four of the large Atlantean Statues of the heroic characters, or explore the large-scale vessels, including Black Manta’s submarine and the Galleon.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks CEO, Clark Kirby said this incredible exhibit will take Movie World guests on an amazing behind-the-scenes journey of the Aquaman film. “The Aquaman Exhibition is a visual and uniquely immersive walk-through experience for our guests which will bring the Aquaman movie to life,” he said.
“From the moment guests enter the venue they will feel as if they have been transported into an Atlantean world as they navigate their way through the remarkable set pieces, costumes, weapons and vehicles.”
“Movie World is a proud supporter of DC and with Aquaman being filmed at our adjacent Village Roadshow Studios, there is a great synergy between the brands and we can’t wait for our guests to experience this attraction,” added Kirby.
