Sandy Verschoor appointed new General Manager of Windmill Theatre

Sandy_Verschoor 1Windmill Theatre has announced the appointment of Sandy Verschoor as the company’s new General Manager and Producer, bringing a wealth of experience to the organisation following several high profile arts leadership roles in South Australia.

Ms Verschoor joins Windmill following her most recent position as General Manager, City Culture and Community Services at Adelaide City Council. Previously, she was Executive Producer of the Adelaide Festival of Ideas, Associate Director of Arts Projects Australia, which included roles with WOMADelaide and Adelaide Film Festival, and was CEO of Adelaide Fringe Festival for four years during its period of expansion and establishment as an annual event.

Ms Verschoor has also taught Strategic Marketing for the University of South Australia’s Masters of Communications program in Adelaide, Hong Kong and Singapore.
