An original play by Tuia Suter and Bella Moretto, Powder Room is a comedy-drama, exploring female friendships and animosity in the rawest and filthiest of locations – a nightclub women’s bathroom – at The MC Showroom, Prahran, from 16 August 2023.
The ensemble piece follows five women over the course of one night as their paths cross in hilarious, messy and heartfelt ways. Within the dingy cubicles, the bathroom becomes more than just a space for touch-ups and ‘bump’ breaks.
The newfound sanctuary becomes a rehearsal space for flirting, a haven for tactical vomiting, a sponge for hot girl tears, and so much more.
Written and directed by Tuia Suter and Bella Moretto, Powder Room is the creative duo’s first collaborative theatrical production and features Amelia Dunn, Amelia Nemet, Dezi Boyle, Ez Kenworthy, Luce Wirthensohn and Xepheren Jaadwa.
