One of America’s sassiest exports, Pamela Shaw, is performing her hit show Naughty With a Band at the Paddington Town Hall, Sydney for a limited season until 2 June 2019.
Straight from the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Naughty With a Band is a musical melange of pop, blues and rock complete with a full band under the direction of local industry stalwart, keyboard musician and musical director, Daryl Wallis.
This extraordinarily funny and touching show, conceived and created by Pamela Shaw herself, is a story that captures her character’s journey from obedience to not really giving a shit.
Inspired by Roald Dahl’s book and now a worldwide sensation by Tim Minchin, Matilda: The Musical, Naughty With a band delivers an extraordinary mix of comedy, dance, cabaret, music, songs and hilarity – all headlined by the New Yorker in a stunningly polished, professional and unflappable performance, rich in energy and sensuality. It is a show not to be missed!
Brian Cobb, founder and Executive Producer of Cobbstar Productions, which took over occupancy of the former Metro Screen space in late 2016, now known as Cobbstar Live at the Paddington Town Hall, is excited to announce Naughty With a Band at the iconic venue.
“Pamela Shaw is a knock out and her latest reincarnation of Naughty With a Band delivers authentic chemistry and a first rate performance that will set Sydney alight,” said Cobb. “We are excited to be welcoming such a brilliant show to Cobbstar Live as our opening season at the Paddington Town Hall.”
