A night of great talent for a great cause, OzBroadway will celebrate Australian musical theatre to help raise funds for The Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust.
For one night only, OzBroadway will feature songs from some of Australia’s most well known musicals such as Priscilla Queen of the Dessert and The Boy from Oz as well as works by Eddie Perfect, Mathew Frank & Dean Bryant, James Millar & Peter Rutherford, Matthew Robinson, Anthony Costanzo, Gillian Cosgriff, Rob Tripolino & Hugo Chiarella, Nick Hedger and many others.
The talented line up of performers featuring cast members from former and current shows, Les Miserables, Love Never Dies, The King and I South Pacific and Wicked include: Bianca Baykara, Rachel Cole, Gillian Cosgriff, Zoy Frangos, Ed Grey, Erin James, Stefanie Jones, Erin Kennedy, Adrian Li Donni, Adele Parkinson, Joel Parnis, Josh Robson, Tod Strike, Alana Tranter, Dean Vince, and Sophie Wright.
OzBroadway was an initiative created to raise funds for The Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust which was established in 1958, and since then has been providing emergency financial assistance to those in the entertainment industry who, through poor health or ill fortune, find themselves with nowhere else to turn. It is the charity for those working in all areas of film, theatre and television; on and off the stage, in front of and behind the camera.
