What would you do differently from what you do now?
I wouldn’t do anything differently, I’m happy with with my life and what I’ve achieved.
Who inspires you and why?
I continue to be inspired every single day by young successful people. People who are go getters and don’t settle for less.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
If I could I would stop bullying and discrimination.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
I’ve traveled to lots of amazing countries and it’s difficult to pick one favourite, so I’ve narrowed it down to two. I love Paris – it’s such a beautiful city and so romantic. I also love Nha Trang in Vietnam – it’s a beautiful coastal destination and the food is unbelievable and the people are so humble and friendly. I could easily live there!
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I’m lucky enough to live in Adelaide we have some sensational wineries including McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley plus Adelaide is a great festival city so Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Cabaret Festival are great places to take visitors.
What are you currently reading?
At the moment I’m reading the script and musical score of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
What are you currently listening to?
I am currently listening – on repeat – to all music from Priscilla Queen Of The Desert.
Happiness is what you make it. I am naturally a happy person and my life right now is one of the happiest I’ve ever been.
What does the future hold for you?
My future is bright and exciting. Who knows what this opportunity of playing Bernadette in the new Matt Ward Production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert will bring. It’s a world first that a trans person has played this lead character who is a retired trans showgirl. Who knows what doors this role will open for me…
