What would you do differently to what you do now?
Throw glitter at people when I meet first meet them (a small spectacle to start new relationships).

Who inspires you and why?
Willoh S Weiland, Bec Reid, Lara Thoms, Liz Dunn, Chris More, Nick Roux, Ben Shaw, Jonathon Oxalde, Yvette Turnball, Anna Macflarlane, Robyn McPherson, Em O Brian, Freya Waterson = the Game Show creative team! Why? My dreams are their nightmares!

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Go the Boats + Yes the Carbon Tax + Marriage for Queers and Old Dears.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Sardinia. I am traveling there this year and it comes highly recommended!

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take then to, and why?
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel. What were they thinking? Oh they weren’t.

The very talented (and good looking) Roger Monk.

What does the future hold for you?
Next year I hope to hunt down, capture and battle to the “performative death” the one and only Grace Jones, to determine who should be crowned the ultimate performer, the loser never allowed to perform again.

Tris­tan Meecham com­pleted a Bach­e­lor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) at QUT and Bach­e­lor of Dra­matic Arts (Act­ing) at VCA, where he was awarded the inau­gural Richard Pratt Schol­ar­ship for Out­stand­ing Act­ing Stu­dent.

Tris­tan cre­ated The Com­ing Out Tril­ogy, three large-scale per­for­mance spec­ta­cles that include Fun Run, Game Show, and Miss Uni­verse. He is an Artis­tic Asso­ciate of Aphids, and his col­lab­o­ra­tions include Drive In Project (2013 Dro­mana Drive In), The Lady and The Tiger (2012 West Space Gallery), Thrash­ing With­out Look­ing (2012 Mobile States National Tour), Fever Beach, (Asso­ciate Pro­ducer 2012) and The Fam­ily Show (2012 Sala­manca Arts).

In 2014, Tris­tan and his col­lab­o­ra­tor Bec Reid will direct The Fes­ti­val of Inspi­ra­tion, in part­ner­ship with Vic­to­rian Col­lege of the Arts and The Mar­garet Lawrence Bequest. He also works as a voice over artist, actor and teacher.
