On the Couch with Stefanie Caccamo

Stefanie Caccamo AAR On the CouchWho is Stefanie Caccamo?
She’d love to know the answer to that, too! I’m Sydney born and bred and graduated from the Music Theatre course at WAAPA in 2016. Since then, I’ve been prancing around on stages, trying to convince people that I’m not me. I adore screen acting and recently was fortunate enough to try it out – it’s safe to say I’m addicted!

But really… I’m a big family gal and aunty to many beautiful nieces. I love my friends, music, podcasts, epic television/movie series, board games, the sun, the ocean and moving my body! And now this reads like my dating profile. But hey, you asked.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
I have absolutely no idea.

Who inspires you and why?
I’m easily inspired. Honestly, most people inspire me. Fortunately, in my line of work, I’m constantly meeting new people and I often find that I’m delighted and in awe of their experiences and journeys, skills, talents, all of it. They inspire me to keep learning and expanding. Music. Oh, how it makes me feeeel! And of course, Audra McDonald. Cos. Audra. Duh.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
My favourite so far, hands down, is Queenstown, NZ. It’s the most beautiful place I have ever seen. And if you go, you absolutely must go to “Fergbaker” Bakery and try their Boston Cream Donut. You wont regret it.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Probably our beaches! Maybe a beautiful coastal walk.

What are you currently reading?
I really shouldn’t tell you. But the last book I read, a wonderful friend of mine bought me, was The Miracle Morning – the 6 habits that will transform your life before 8am. Highly recommend.

What are you currently listening to?
The podcast, Mamma Mia Out Loud – What women are actually talking about. Yep. I’m an official “Out Louder”. Completely addicted.

Happiness is?
My family and friends. And Mum’s Bolognese.

What does the future hold for you?
Gosh. Hopefully, more opportunities to perform. I’d love to be a part of a big ensemble TV show or movie franchise. I will finally learn Italian. Travel way more! Keep looking for inspiration. Who knows, I might be doing something completely different!
