Sharon is an Acrobat who has performed with many of the iconic contemporary Australian circuses including A Good Catch, Circus Oz, Circus Monoxide and Dislocate. She was also an acrobat in Cirque du Soleil’s Saltimbanco.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
Nothing. I’m not sure I could do anything else. I’ve tried to leave before but was always drawn back.

Who inspires you and why?
My Dogs because they have the best work ethic and unconditional love.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Stop the commodification of Art.

Favorite holiday destination and why?
Holidays are so intertwined with where I am working, they are taken when the opportunity arises, and they are usually my favorite when I’m with great people.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
The best bit of nature that we can get to in the time we have.

What are you currently reading?
The Stone Gods by Jeanette Winterson.

What are you currently listening to?
An eclectic mix of podcasts including The Minefield, Huberman Lab, Imaginary advice and Gymcastic.

Happiness is?
When I’m feeling like it’s not all futile.

What does the future hold for you?
More experimenting with the artform of circus, more experimenting with what my body can do, mostly with the people I love.
