Who is Noel Hodda?
Born and bred in Southern NSW, grew up with a head full of dreams and impractical ideas and now works in the Arts. What could go wrong?
What would you do differently from what you do now?
Learn the guitar and play in a band. Some teenage dreams never die.
Who inspires you and why?
Anyone who follows through on their beliefs and visions for a better world, whether on a grand or small scale. No megalomaniacs, narcissists, dropkicks or drongos need apply.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Think global. Act local.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Seville in Spain. The architecture, food, climate, and churros for breakfast at Bar El Commercio.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
If they’ve never been to Sydney before, up Military Rd Nth Bondi, across the park to the cliffs. A stunning view that not even all Sydney-siders have seen.
What are you currently reading?
The script to Heaven – over and over! When I’m in rehearsal there’s no room on my internal hard drive for anything else.
What are you currently listening to?
Anything calming.
Happiness is?
A good balance of work and play and time spent with those you love.
What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully, a future!
Noel stars in Australian premiere of Eugene O’Brien’s Heaven – presented by Bitchen Wolf at Qtopia Sydney (Loading Dock Theatre) from 14 – 31 May 2025. For more information, visit: www.bitchenwolf.com for details.
