Who is Nicholas Papademetriou?
A man who saw too many Joan Crawford films as a child.
What would you do differently from what you do now?
I’d say no more often. But it probably wouldn’t be as much fun.
Who inspires you and why?
Anyone who gets through life inspires me because it’s too hard. I marvel how any of us get through it actually.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I’d make everyone stop fighting.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
New York – because it’s insanity makes me feel quite normal.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I always want to take them to the zoo, but they never want to go. So it’s usually lunch on Balmoral Beach because it covers all bases: taste and tasteful.
What are you currently reading?
Just Me (Sheila Hancock) and Einstein (Walter Isaacson).
What are you currently listening to?
What I always listen to – swing music from the 40s with a lean on Artie Shaw.
Happiness is?
Being on stage.
What does the future hold for you?
Not what I’d like it to.
