What would you do differently from what you do now?
I love what I do and the people I work with so would not change my vocation – possibly wished I could have been more studious and studied business and marketing.
Who inspires you and why?
My Grandfather was a Magician and touring picture show man – he was my hero as a child and still and inspiration – I believe he is watching over me and helping guide me through this business, I always say a little prayer and thank him for passing on the passion of magic before each and every show.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I would love to inspire others to peruse their passions, to dream big and that anything is possible if you put your heart and soul and never ever give up on your dreams.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Paris of course, for the Caffes, Brasserie’s and Bars the cobble streets, the history and the architecture on ever corner – but most of all the for the French Cabaret’s, it’s research, relaxation and inspiration all rolled into one city.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
To the State Library and the Alma Magical Collection – there is a fantastic collection of Book’s, Posters and Magical apparatus – it’s a hidden treasure trove in the heart of Melbourne and inspires all.
What are you currently reading?
Spherical Sorcery by Maurice Rooklyn – an Autobiography of a famous Australian magician that travelled the globe performing magic in the 1920’s, it’s fascinating reading.
What are you currently listening to?
Edith Piaf vs Brittany Spears – a contrasting mix both lyrically and musically.
Family, Friends and doing what you love in life as a profession.
What does the future hold for you?
Taking the shows to new audiences around the globe and traveling internationally as did the famous showmen of the past. Also a reinvention of myself as a performer and person as I age and a new chapter of life beings.
