Meredith Kitchen is a director, performer, choreographer, and teacher with a career spanning over 30 years in various performing arts disciplines, including dance, physical theatre, puppetry, and circus.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
Nothing really, it’s been a whirl… Perhaps become a vigneron.

Who inspires you and why?
David Attenborough. He never stops and does everything which such passion and integrity that you can’t help being interested and the cinematography woah!

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Aren’t we trying to do that every day in the arts?

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Can’t say I have ever been on a holiday, have always travelled whilst working.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
The Fleurieu Peninsula. Its one of the most beautiful coastlines and is close to all the wineries.

What are you currently reading?
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.

What are you currently listening to?
Anything without a beat.

Happiness is?
Only real when shared.

What does the future hold for you?
Que Sera Sera… but hopefully great things.
