On the Couch with Loren Hunter

Loren-Hunter-AAR-On-the-CouchWho is Loren Hunter?
The hardest question of all time to answer. I’m thinking of how my parents and my inner circle would answer this question. I reckon they’d say someone who is generous of spirit and very hard on themselves… Oh and they’d say I am VERY funny!

What would you do differently from what you do now?
LEAN TOWARDS THE JOY MUCH MORE!

Who inspires you and why?
Maggie Rogers. My favourite recording artist. I just love her authenticity and how her genuine sense of self is deeply reflected in her art. She inspires me to strive for this myself.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I’d love to be able to attain my Meditation Teacher training. Meditation has changed my life and I’d love to be able to impact someone the same way with meditation. I whole heartedly believe the world would be a better place if people meditated for a minimum of 10 minutes a day.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
The first place that comes to mind is Dunsborough in WA. I spent a lot of school holidays there and absolutely loved it.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I would take them to Whites Hill Reserve near where I live in Brisbane. I spent a lot of time walking in this reserve during covid and I found a lot of joy spotting Koalas. Wholesome right?!

What are you currently reading?
The Listening Path by Julia Cameron

What are you currently listening to?
Maggie Rogers new track, That’s Where I Am.

Happiness is?
Being an Aunty to my little niece Bella.

What does the future hold for you?
I love being an artists and I love telling stories so I hope my future is full of opportunities where I can continue on that path.
