Who is Loren Hunter?
I am a passionate actress, teacher, dog mum, pasta lover, cafe snob, adventurer and chatty Cathy. I believe you get what you give. Time is finite so stay curious and open about the world! We only have one life so get up, get out and LIVE IT! When I’m not performing you usually find me spending time with my partner, my doggo Watson, my 2 beautiful nieces and my family. They are everything to me and nothing comes between me and my loved ones.
What would you do differently from what you do now?
I wouldn’t do anything else. I mean I get to play Charity in Sweet Charity the Musical! I have such a fruitful life and I feel very lucky that I get to live it like I do.
Who inspires you and why?
Any songwriter ever. I think being creative is an action. Anyone who puts time aside to write songs, to write plays, any sort of creative act, is inspiring to me.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I’ve come to do a lot of mentoring in the past 2 years and I would LOVE to continue to do that. My ambitions are focused on small changes that can be made that make a big impact.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Portugal! There is something about that country that feels like home to me.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I think I say this in every interview I’ve ever done. But Snug Cafe in Coorparoo is my favourite place to take friends from interstate!
What are you currently reading?
Unlovable by Darren Hayes. If you’re reading this Darren can we write a song together!?
What are you currently listening to?
Stellar Perry who I just worked with on The Lovers has an original song called The Scorpion … an absolute banger.
Happiness is?
As Morrie said in Tuesdays with Morrie By Mitch Albom Giving is Living. That is happiness. Giving.
What does the future hold for you?
I’m hoping its going to look like working on whatever Margot Robbie’s production companies next project is. This gal has big dreams.
