What would you do differently from what you do now?
I was warned going into the arts that there is no money, and I didn’t believe them. They were right, I was wrong.
Who inspires you and why?
My child (and anyone who has a child), my colleagues and anyone who peruses their creative impulsive as a living. Parenting and performing are very similar in so many ways, it’s all about problem solving and thinking creatively.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I would ban assault rifles in the US.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
I can’t afford holidays (never have been able to) but one of the perks of my job is having someone else pay me to tour the world on their dime. My favourites have been London, New York and Kununurra.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
In Melbourne, the Dandenongs and in Sydney the Blue Mountains. They both share the alure of fresh air, Devonshire tea and great op shopping.
