On the Couch with Jesse Rasmussen

Jesse-Rasmussen-AAR-On-the-CouchWho is Jesse Rasmussen?
Co-Creator & Company Director of The Tap Pack. Husband and father of two.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
I’m really happy with what I have in my life right now, however the one thing I wish I pursued further is learning how to play the drums.

Who inspires you and why?
I get really inspired working alongside The Tap Pack Creatives and Producers. It has been an incredible ride the past 10 years. I get to work with my best mates, we get to be creative and bring ideas to life while travelling around the world… That and my wife, because she is currently standing behind me looking over my shoulder.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I would love to help people more and bless people with great opportunities.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
I would have to say Vegas, It has it all. Spend the day by the Pool and then incredible theatre shows at night. Plus I’ve always wanted to play in the World Series of Poker!

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Since I’m from the Gold Coast, it’s safe to say there is no shortage of things to do on the GC from Theme Parks, the beach, live music or barefoot bowls on the weekend.

What are you currently reading?
My Dad bought me the new Passion Bible for my Birthday, currently making way through that.

What are you currently listening to?
My favourite genres of music is Hip Hop & Jazz, however I love listening to a good podcast on my travels. I’m up to Part 3 of a 20 Part series with Kevin Zadai.

Happiness is?
Family & Friends.

What does the future hold for you?
I have just started a new company and very excited to be launching a brand new Tap Dance Syllabus in 2024.
