Who is Ian Stenlake?
An Australian actor who just turned 50, started wearing glasses and had another baby girl all in the same year!
What would you do differently from what you do now?
I’ve always had a passion for medicine so making a difference in that world would be awesome.
Who inspires you and why?
I’m currently being inspired by Clint Eastwood for his tireless devotion to movie-making at nearly 90 years of age.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
The recent arrival of my daughter, Scarlett reminded me of the miracle of birth and if I could somehow inspire the whole world to remember that we all started off as miracles, maybe there would be more peace…
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Bali never fails to relax me and that’s not just because my father-in-law has a villa there, but thanks anyway, David!
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to,and why?
Walking from Bondi to Bronte or even all the way to Coogee has to be one of the most spectacular natural attractions around.
What are you currently reading?
Pure Imagination!: A Sorta-Biography. It’s about Leslie Bricusse and I think I might be writing a show about him. Maybe. If I stop procrastinating.
What are you currently listening to?
Currently chasing really good true crime podcasts.
Happiness is?
A lazy Sunday morning breakfast with the family followed by some beach time.
What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully lots more acting work and then one day, some flash of brilliance sees me invent something incredible and popular and financial freedom comes-knocking at my door.
