On the Couch with Harrison Dowzell

Harrion-Dowzell-AAR-On-the-CouchWho is Harrison Dowzell?
I love films and TV series, music and soundtracks, football (especially Man City) walking my dogs and food.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
Definitely cut down on chocolate and energy drinks and be better at replying on my phone to friends and family.

Who inspires you and why?
My brother inspires me every day, he’s 18 and already so mature and clever and super talented. He knuckles down and puts all his focus into something when he wants to achieve it and isn’t distracted.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
To make a difference in the world I would certainly try and stop animal cruelty and violence as I love all animals and want them to live happy lives. I would also want to improve waste disposal and recycling.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Greece for sure, I would like to visit as many of the islands as possible and some parts of the mainland. I have been fortunate to of done a few of these already. I love being able to explore and take out a boat or a quad bike and see the islands myself rather than on a tour bus. I also love the heat, architecture, history and culture out there.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I’d most definitely take them to Roxy Ball Room or Boom Battle Bar. These bars are full of fun exciting activities and have some of my favourite games to play. I’m very much into my pool/snooker and love playing winner stays on with my friends and a few beers. If we’re not playing pool these bars have plenty more to offer like table tennis, beer pong, bowling, darts, mini golf, Karaoke and more.

What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading Me Before You which I love and it’s really opened up my mind to how many details are missed when made into a movie. However, the movie is also brilliant and very moving.

What are you currently listening to?
I’m currently listening to the soundtrack of Daisy Jones & The Six – which I’m hooked on since finishing the series.

Happiness is?
Happiness to me is being in the fresh air of the woods, no matter what season, with my girlfriend and the dogs and exploring. The woods is one of my favourite places and I’m very lucky to have 3 beautiful woods near where I live. It’s the best way to unwind and feel stress free and get away from the rush of working in London.

What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully lots of exciting adventures and projects but mostly I hope for good health and to stay injury free.
