On the Couch with Glenn Hill

Glenn Hill Arts Review On the CouchWho is Glenn Hill?
A 34 year old, Sydney born, musical theatre performer. Now living in Melbourne.

What would you do differently to what you do now?
If I wasn’t performing, I would love to be in property renovation/interior design or landscape gardening.

Who inspires you and why?
I am inspired by anyone that chases after their passion. It can be so hard at times to persist or fight for what you want to achieve in life. So when people make it happen it definitely inspiring.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
If I could make a difference in the world i would want to put an end to 3rd world poverty. I can’t believe that with our global wealth, people are still suffering and don’t have access to the basic necessities of survival.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
My favourite holiday destination thus far has been a beautiful island resort in Vanuatu called Ratua. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, sea turtles, corals and fresh coconuts! It is heaven.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I’m fairly new to Melbourne myself, so I’m still exploring the city too. But i would say Melbourne’s food/restaurants are a must when hosting visitors. San Telmos, Pastuso, Gazi. Such incredible food!!

What are you currently reading?
At the moment I’m reading my Hello, Dolly! script. It’s a huge show, and I have a lot to learn before we start!

What are you currently listening to?
I have a broad taste when it comes to music. I love old school soul music like Donny Hathaway & Stevie Wonder. But I also love artists like Allen Stone and Beyonce. Depends on the day.

Happiness is?
Happiness is being in my brand new house, relaxing on the couch with my partner and dogs, and drinking a glass of red! Perfect end to my day.

What does the future hold for you?
I hope that my future holds lots of travel, growth and opportunities in my career, health and continued happiness.
