I’m Eva Kong. Soprano.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
Well… I’m doing quite a few jobs at the moment, but mainly singing. But my side jobs are as an entrepreneur and restauranteur. If I had to choose, I’d like to open up proper vegan restaurant.

Who inspires you and why?
My husband. He always gives me wise advice and endless love.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Just small things. Reduce garbage, teach other people to grow their own vegetables.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Jeju Island in Korea, they have such a unique culture and amazing food with great landscapes.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Of course our property, our home. It has such therapeutic scenery with amazing food… made by yours truly!

What are you currently reading?
The libretto of The Marriage of Figaro.

What are you currently listening to?
Sibelius violin concerto in D minor, second movement.

Happiness is?
A calmness inside of us. No more ‘noisy monkey’ in my head.

What does the future hold for you?
I want to live in a peaceful world, with no more pandemic. Then I will be able to actually think of my future and our children’s futures too.
