On the Couch with Dustyesky

Mark-Swivel-aka-SwivWho is Dustyesky?
We leading genuine fake Russian choir anywhere on earth. Hairy, handsome and harmonious mens.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
We should’ve gone to Mother Russia in middle of pandemic. We got invited last May but stayed at home like children.

Who inspires you and why?
Maybe Red Army Choir or Pussy Riot and Einstuerzende Neubauten. Extreme, noble and noisy!

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Sing song, plant tree, kiss baby every day – and stop work to share gherkin liqueur with factory colleagues.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
We go every year to dacha (shack) in Murmansk owned by our Christov. We ride his deer. Everyone happy.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
We go to State Library, hold hands and read Das Kapital, The Lucky Country, maybe The Female Eunuch.

What are you currently reading?
Das Kapital is really long. Also poems of Pablo Neruda. ‘Era el crepusculo de iguana!’ Do you know it?

What are you currently listening to?
Boz Scaggs. Julia Jacklin. Karen Finley too (no one remember her, she amazings!). Also Karen Carpenter.

Happiness is?
Dancing with Dustyesky and losing all sense of time, bearings and lyrics of next song. Many funs!

What does the future hold for you?
When massive meteorite come to crash into earth, Dustyesky will catch it in bare hands. Is prophecy. Pravda!
