Who is Deone Zanotto?
A girl from the country who loves a wine and a good dinner, adores being a mum and had a childhood dream to dance on Broadway.
What would you do differently to what you do now?
Nothing… I believe we are exactly where we are supposed to be… always!
Who inspires you and why?
My Mum, she inspires me every single day…her patience, her kindness, her strength, her spirit. She’s a rock and I owe so much to her.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I love looking after the environment, I think if we all play our tiny part and try our best to protect this beautiful planet we live on, then it will still be here for our children’s children to enjoy.
Favorite holiday destination and why?
At the moment New York and LA are our favorite holiday destinations- because we lived there for so long, and have only recently moved back to OZ, we have so many great friends and people we call family there that we miss and love to visit. Also our son, Hudson, was born there and we want to keep him connected to his roots there.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
The BEACH!! It’s so beautiful, we love Coogee and Bondi. Also love having a smart drink down at the bars near the Opera House – its exquisite down there and really shows off Sydney.

What are you currently listening to?
My Mack and Mabel notes and harmonies!! HAHA!! I’m a little old school, you will always find a bit of Snoop Dog, 2Pac, The Game, Usher, 50cent, Justin T and SWV somewhere on my Spotify playlist.
Happiness is?
Sipping a martini with my husband, hearing my son giggle, spending time with my family, dipping my toes in the ocean, reading a fabulous book in a cafe with an espresso, receiving a handwritten letter in the mail, sleeping in freshly washed sheets, sleeping in!
What does the future hold for you?
I’m pretty sure it will involve moving house a few more times, moving cities and countries as well – going back to New York, working on Broadway again, filming/writing a tv series, creating a business project with my husband, working on being a better human, enjoying watching my son blossom and grow!
