Who is Deone Zanotto?
She is a Mum who runs her own meditation business and loves to jump on stage and sing and dance.
What would you do differently from what you do now?
If I was born in Italy, I would run a cute little bed and breakfast, bake homemade bread for my guests and make sensational coffee.
Who inspires you and why?
My son, Hudson. He is so brave and incredibly present. I watch him face his fears and he just valorously steps into the face of it. I don’t for a second think it’s easy for him… he just rocks up to the challenge anyway and I love that about him.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I would create a meditation program for school kids to implement during the school day. I think meditation is the key to unlocking that creative part of ourselves as well as achieving a sense of calm and replenishing your energy stores.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
New York! It’s one of my favourite places to visit even after living there for so long. I love seeing shows of course, the restaurants, deli’s, and we have friends there that are like family to us that we truly miss. Plus the museums, Central Park… and the list goes on!
When friends come to town what attraction would you take them to and why?
We always take them into the city for a delicious cocktail and then out for great dinner. I think Melbourne is world class when it comes to food, cocktails and coffee, three things that shouldn’t be missed!
What are you currently reading?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It is sensational!
What are you currently listening to?
The last Spotify playlist was Sia.
Happiness is?
A beautiful dinner with friends and family. Good food, good conversation and lots of love in the air!
What does the future hold for you?
Well it’s coming up to my favourite time of year, Christmas! So lots of catch ups and family time and celebrating the year that was 2023! As for any further into the future than that… who knows!? I think that’s what makes life exciting
