On the Couch with Caspar Hardaker

Caspar-Hardaker-AAR-On-the-CouchWho is Caspar Hardaker?
I’m a 29-year-old Latino-Australian actor born and raised in Sydney. I love acting, writing, playing soccer, and eating the best laksa I can find.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
If I wasn’t an actor I’d pursue music. I’ve always had interests in hip-hop and jazz. I play saxophone, so I’d try incorporate that somewhere in the scheme of things.

Who inspires you and why?
My family and friends inspire me. As cheesy as it is, they show me the true meaning of love, happiness and what it means to belong to a supportive network in this life. Can’t beat that!

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
If I had heaps of money, I’d invest in charitable causes particularly within the mental health sector. Mental health is something that’s important to me and being able to assist in ways to further our understanding in this area would be invaluable.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Prague. So much history and so much magic in this city.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I’d take them around Newtown/Enmore. That’s my hometown and there’s never a dull moment when catching the nightlife around those areas!

What are you currently reading?
My script. Committing those lines to memory.

What are you currently listening to?
Picture Perfect by Little Simz. Highly recommend!

Happiness is?
Picnic in a park on a sunny afternoon with loved ones.

What does the future hold for you?
Hopefully something which involves more of the same energy I receive from the wonderful people and places around me.
