On the Couch with Caroline Ferguson

Caroline Ferguson AAR On The CouchWho is Caroline Ferguson?
A frustrated showgirl!

What would you do differently from what you do now?
I would have liked to be a veterinarian as I’m nuts about animals, but I had absolutely no aptitude for the sciences at school.

Who inspires you and why?
Joanna Lumley. She’s funny, adventurous, inquisitive and generally just seems like a really good value chick.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Make all world  leaders compete in a theatre sports team. You have to really put your ego aside, listen to each other and work together.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Greece. My husband is Greek so I have a connection, and I like eating and warm weather.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
If they’re my friends, they’ll probably love clothes, so I’ll take them to all the fantastic consignment stores in the inner north of Melbourne.

What are you currently reading?
Bad Art Mother by Edwina Preston. A ripper read!

What are you currently listening to?
Kosmos FM.

Happiness is?
Sitting in our tiny kitchen with a cocktail chatting with my husband while he’s cooking. I can’t cook.

What does the future hold for you?
More performing.

Caroline stars in Dahlin! It’s the Jeanne Little Show – which will be presented at The Butterfly Club, Melbourne, on Friday 22 & Saturday 23 November, and the Shirley Burke Theatre, Parkdale, on Sunday 24 November 2024.
