Who is Caleb Cameron?
A human from Timaru New Zealand who loves to dance.
What would you do differently from what you do now?
Cook more often and write more.
Who inspires you and why?
My Grandad Kurt Kempf. He inspired me directly through encouragement and quality time when he was alive and he inspires me through the life he lived.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Only through what I can do can I make a difference in the world – so I make sure that in everything I do comes from a place of Love.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
There’s three answers to this question because when I’m on holiday I go back home to Timaru and the first place I’ve travelled to strictly for a holiday was Lombok Indonesia and the favourite place I’ve travelled to has been Alicante Spain. So all of them.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
When friends come to hometown I would want to take them on the Dashing Rocks walk, a beach cliff walk where you can get right up to the waves.
What are you currently reading?
The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis.
What are you currently listening to?
I’ve been listening to a lot of Olivia Dean lately.
Happiness is?
Gratitude. It is easy to look around and find things to be grateful for and it’s a good practice to get into.
What does the future hold for you?
Creating a show with people I know and love, and performing it in New Zealand.
Caleb can be seen in Bernie Dieter’s Club Kabarett – which is currently playing at the Meat Market, North Melbourne until 24 May 2026. For more information, visit: www.clubkabarett.flicket.io for details.
