Who is Brad Cohen?
Musician. Innovator. Craftsman. Idealist.
What would you do differently to what you do now?
Very little – I’m just plugging away in my little corner of the musical world, doing the best I can.
Who inspires you and why?
People who follow their path, who can distinguish the trivial from the important and know how to choose rightly. Life should be like Italian food at its best – simple things, lovingly prepared and attentively enjoyed.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
What I’m doing. Advocating the awareness, understanding and enjoyment of what music brings to human life.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Mauritius. Not only my birthplace, probably the most beautiful place on earth. When I step off the plane my spirit exhales!
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
King’s Park. What a magnificent spread of the Swan, the city and the beautiful natural endowments of Perth and WA – a world in a teacup!
What are you currently reading?
The Internet Trap and This Is Going To Hurt.
What are you currently listening to?
Obscure French church music from the eighteenth century. Don’t ask me why!
Happiness is?
Overrated! For me life is about fulfillment, but that doesn’t always equate to happiness. Happiness is surface, fulfillment is deep.
What does the future hold for you?
The unknown. Just how I like it!
