Bonnie is a 37-year-old proud disabled, neurodivergent performer. Bonnie is a dancer with Restless Dance Theatre as well as a producer and burlesque performer.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
I would take more slow days, do more yoga and learn how to meditate.

Who inspires you and why?
The amazing women I am surrounded with both at Restless Dance Theatre and Tutti Arts. Michelle Ryan, Roz Hervey, Julie Moralee, Gaelle Mellis, Linda Williams. All of these woman are incredibly creative, kind, welcoming and absolute powerhouse in their fields.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Create art that is inclusive, diverse and that allows people to feel like all of them belong.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Koh Lanta – Thailand – such beautiful quiet beaches, amazing cocktails and the chilliest culture.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
If there is a festival on I would be taking them to a show, otherwise out to dinner at my favourite restaurant Ballaboosta (city location).

What are you currently reading?
ADHD women and girls.

What are you currently listening to?
Rosenfield – very sensual music.

Happiness is?
Feeling content, connected and finding joy and happiness in every day moments.

What does the future hold for you?
Travelling around Australia and internationally performing with Restless Dance Theatre. Taking my burlesque persona SANTOSHA STORM around Australia to perform and create wild art. Producing more sold out DOWNPOUR shows. Finding quiet moments with family and friends
