Who inspires you and why?
My mother because shes a 66-year-old badass artist who’s lived through everything, argues with everyone about politics, changes her mind about her beliefs, paints our fence with murals and covers the house with her Art.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Coordinate the efforts of 8 NGOs in Serbia to stop Rio Tinto building a lithium mine on the most fertile soil in the country. Check our our campaign “Mars Sa Drine” on all media.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
My Chevy G20 1993 van because if you’re driving it or sleeping in the back of it, every holiday destination is the best.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
Serbia – my village cottage which is on top of a mountain where my aunt Gordana would greet them with coffee and cigarettes. Australia / Sydney – to my house so they can see my mother’s art and my dad’s mathematics. Adelaide – to the markets. Melbourne Marios coffee for the best late night meals in the world. New York – to Dia Beacon, the best art museum in the world.
What are you currently reading?
Just finished Boy Swallows Universe by Trent Dalton. Just picked up Silent Spring by Rachel Carson.

Audio book of Yanis Varoufakis – Talking to My Daughter About the Economy.
Happiness is?
Winning Risk in a game of six.
What does the future hold for you?
It holds so much, but it’s holding on so tight, I cant tell what it is.
