On the Couch with Baylie Carson

TPC Baylie Carson - photo by Mark FlowerWho is Baylie Carson?
Baylie Carson is a slightly wired quirky human being who always thinks that laughter and coffee are the best medicine.

What would you do differently to what you do now?
If I could do anything differently it would be to make bold choices In life and have confidence in myself! I wish I could tell my teenage self that being different is a good thing.

Who inspires you and why?
I don’t have a particular person who inspires me but, what I find inspiring is watching and learning from others around me in this industry. Watching another person’s process is inspiring to me.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
If I was in a place of power I would fight for the rights of equality, and that every human is of the same worth.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
I have fallen in love London. I love the walking and living around so much history and beautiful architecture.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I would take them to my favourite coffee shops, the theatre and also Puffing Billy haha!

What are you currently reading?
I am reading (trying to read ) the first book in the series of A Game of Thrones.

What are you currently listening to?
I am actually listening to a podcast called How did this get made. The basis is hilarious. Comedians talk about a particularly bad film each week and how in hell it got made in the first place!

Happiness is?
Happiness is the first coffee in the morning.

What does the future hold for you?
I am not sure what it holds, but I would love to travel and continue to work in the entertainment industry.

Baylie will star as Ermengarde in The Production Company’s presentation of Hello Dolly! at Arts Centre Melbourne: 27 May – 11 June 2017. For more information, visit: www.theproductioncompany.com.au for details.
