Who is AYDAN?
A singer-songwriter from Melbourne. He has been signed to Universal Music since 2018 and steadily releasing music for the last 3 years to discover his sound. His latest single GROW UP! is a perfect representation of the kind of sound he is looking to pursue further in the future with new music on the horizon very soon.
What would you do differently from what you do now?
I would have probably opened a music school because that’s something I’ve dreamed about doing since I was a kid.
Who inspires you and why?
My parents are two of the hardest working people I have ever met. They brought me up and taught me that if I want anything I’m gonna have to work for it. I love them both very much.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I’d make sure every child had access to the same education so they can follow their dreams, whatever that may be.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
I LOVE going up to Port Douglas with my family to get away for a week or two, its one of my favourite places to relax.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I always like to take people to Crown in Melbourne. To get some food, walk along South bank, it’s so pretty at night!
What are you currently reading?
I am the biggest Harry Potter fan, I’m currently re-reading all the books again, I’m up to 4 which coincidentally also happens to be my favourite.
What are you currently listening to?
Silk Sonic just released their debut album and I have been listening to it non stop since it came out. It is a 70’s style funk album with so much soul and groove it’s infectious. I have always loved Bruno Mars so I love listening to all his new work.
Happiness is?
Being around the people you love.
What does the future hold for you?
I honestly don’t know, I don’t know where life is going to take me but I’m along for the ride. As long as it has something to do with music I would be happy. I would love to continue to release music and chase my dream so that’s what I’m gonna do.
