Opera singer, mezzo soprano, performing vocal artist, explorer, traveller, emotional analyst, dramatic creator, tension holder, vocal yogi, rebellious spirit, free thinker, movement worker, devoted groodle Mother.

What would you do differently from what you do now?
Spend more time learning French, if I could wind back to my high school days… but alas, thank God for phonetics.

Who inspires you and why?
Vocally for their power, gravitas & stunning sound – Maria Callas, Leontyne Price, Elina Garanca, Teresa Berganza, Christa Ludwig, Elena Obraztsova, Fiorenza Cossotto, Shirley Verrett, Maria Ewing, Brigitte Fassbaender and Rise Stevens.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Create sound & make music for as many people as possible, “music soothes even the savage beast…”

Favourite holiday destination and why?
What is a holiday?

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
We are heading along the beautiful coastline of Perth, down south to drink coffee at Commonage Coffee and eat all the delicious sweets at Yallingup Chocolate!

Music scores, gardening makeover articles, renovating kitchen tips, how to groom your Groodle…

What are you currently listening to?
Mahler’s 3rd Symphony, Benjamin Clemintine, Mako road & Beyonce’s new release…

Feeling like you are exactly where you are meant to be.

What does the future hold for you?
Many more performances throughout Australia and abroad, I can’t wait to finally make my debut as Carmen for West Australian Opera in 2023, I will also perform in the newly renovated Opera House Concert Hall this December! What a thrill! I hope the future also means I will become a better gardener, a better cook, and always working at becoming a better singer.
