Who is Ashleigh Ross?
I am a 23 year old actress from Sydney, Australia. I was a dancer for over 15 years from the age of 3, and have been acting since the age of 5 which I continue to do and love today!!
What would you do differently from what you do now?
Honestly, nothing. I love what I do. Being a part of someone else’s story, bringing that to life, the storytelling, the truth. I’m so fortunate that I found my passion so young and I’ll be really lucky if I can do it for the rest of my life!
Who inspires you and why?
My family! I have the most supportive parents and siblings who inspire me every single day. They are extremely motivated and driven people who have hearts of gold.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
Be the change you want to see in the world. Lead with kindness. There’s already enough anger and judgement in the world, but it can never have too much kindness.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
Oh, the Maldives. That’s my favourite holiday destination because not only is it absolutely beautiful, but I was there with my family – which made it so much more special. Lots of beautiful memories.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to and why?
If they’ve never been or are not familiar with Sydney then definitely to Circular Quay and the Opera House. It’s so beautiful there – the Harbour Bridge, the water, the city… dreams and possibilities! It’s such a beautiful part of Sydney.
What are you currently reading?
Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. I’m a girl who loves romance books and I’m actually re-reading this one as it’s so good.
Happiness is?
Oh wow, so many things. My happy place is my family, friends…and in the wider scheme of things, for me it includes travelling (big world out there) and of course, to pursue one’s dreams.
What does the future hold for you?
Oh, an easy question! Haha. I’m ever hopeful… continue acting, happy life, happy family, happy friends. Spreading kindness.
