Who is Anthony Bertucci?
A Melbourne born abstract artist. Anthony is a creative person in the pursuit of fulfilment through uplifting life experiences, connectedness, liberation of the mind and boundless creative output.
What would you do differently to what you do now?
Stop thinking and just do it! Make bigger pieces of art… I’m talking Peter Booth big.
What inspires you and why?
Nature is my main inspiration, for all its beauty and energy. Other Artists, poets, musicians, filmmakers, writers and philosophers that feed my soul with creative musings. Also one thing that truly inspires me is authenticity in others and myself. Reminds me to honour my inner voice and vision.
What would you do to make a difference in the world?
To give more love out into the world.
Favorite holiday destination and why?
Capri, absolute paradise on earth. Take me back to the Blue Grotto any day.
When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them too and why?
Road Trip to Hanging Rock. Apart from the majestic beauty of this ancient natural forms and crazy dizzy heights, I’m hoping to find Miranda one day. Rediscovering the laneways of Melbourne city with all its amazing architecture and bustling life . We do live in the best city ever!

Bit of … Frank Herbert’s Dune, bit of … Helen Garner’s Everywhere I Look, and Rumi’s The Divan of Shams.
What are you currently listening to?
I am a music fiend and love all genres. Right now, Prelude Prelude. English 70’s country/folk. They do a great version of After the Goldrush by Neil Young. Khotin Beautiful You. The Breeders Last Splash. Khruangbin The Universe Smiles Upon You.
Happiness is?
Freedom and Simplicity. Nature and good times with friends and family.
What does the future hold for you?
So much planned for next year already. Jan-Feb exhibition at Umberto’s is happening. Creating new artwork for this (even the thought of it excites me). Creating big format artworks and exhibiting around Australia. Travelling to the States – Road trip through the Nevada Desert, Gaga in Las Vegas and Burning Man!
