On the Couch with Anisa Nandaula

Anisa-Nandaula-AAR-On-the-CouchWho is Anisa Nandaula?
A Poet, Educator and Community Organiser.

What would you do differently from what you do now?

Who inspires you and why?
Kobe Bryant. I am very drawn to people who have a relentless passion.

What would you do to make a difference in the world?
I want to make stories that allow black people to see their blackness as a gift. A present to be explored, unwrapped and understood. One of pride.

Favourite holiday destination and why?
Uganda! I love my familly.

When friends come to town, what attraction would you take them to, and why?
I would take them to Kin of course. A delicious Thai restaurant. Then head to Mt Gravatt lookout for a nice view and good old Maltesers.

What are you currently reading?
Unshakable by Tony Robbins. He never fails to motivate me to be better.

What are you currently listening to?

Happiness is?
Laughing on a Saturday afternoon with my mother and brother. Their voices are a slice of a home that was. An infinite peace.

What does the future hold for you?
It holds the love of my family and friends. Crowds and stages for a small girl to tell big stories.
