Mysterion: Descent Into Hades

Hellenic Museum Mysterion Descent Into HadesDo you have what it takes to be initiated into a secret society and meddle in the affairs of Greek gods?

Join Medusa RPG and the Hellenic Museum for Mysterion – a responsive theatre event where guests will take part in an epic secret society ritual and undertake quests to unlock the secrets of immortality!

The Medusa Society is seeking initiates to take part in a ritual that will dissolve the boundary between worlds, in the hopes of stealing the secrets of immortality.

Little do they know their ritual has interfered with an argument between Hades, ruler of the underworld and his wife Persephone, who is bound to his domain for six months of every year.

As winter approaches, Hades grows lonely and impatient for her return while Persephone lingers in Olympus, yearning to live in eternal summer once again.

On the night, participants will be divided into one of two factions: one dedicated to Hades, Lord of the Underworld, and one dedicated to Persephone, Goddess of Spring.

You will receive ability cards and a mask, then initiated into the Medusa Society in an opening ritual. Initiates will have four hours to explore the Hellenic Museum – transformed into a myth-inspired playground.

You will encounter gods and heroes, undertake quests and puzzles, resolve the crisis between the gods, and help the Society uncover the secrets of immortality.
