Mike Blaha: International Joke

Mike Blaha stars in International JokeJoanne Hartstone in association with Fringe Management presents Mike Blaha in International Joke – which will be presented at the Goodwood Theatre and Studios, as part of the 2025 Adelaide Fringe, from 27 February.

Written and performed by Mike Blaha, join him on his global travels in search of the best joke in the world. On the way, have a good laugh with him (or at him – hey, a laugh’s a laugh) as he avoids getting murdered in Sarajevo, gets mocked by a monkey in Bali, and gets mugged on the Paris Metro… all in the name of comedy.

Mike Blaha is a comedian, performer, writer and producer whose previous credits include writing and performing Spank the Monkey (**** – The Scotsman) and Shagadelic (Top Ten/Recommended bstagraw.com) at the Edinburgh and Hollywood Fringes. He is currently a nomad.

Joanne Hartstone is an award-winning South Australian theatre maker, actor and performer, playwright, director, producer and presenter, specialising in international theatrical collaborations, live theatre & cabaret, and immersive/site-specific events. Joanne is also a mentor to emerging artists, performers and playwrights.

Fringe Management has produced over 150 shows at the Edinburgh, Adelaide and Hollywood Fringes over the last 25 years. They won a Fringe First in Edinburgh for their production of Runt and were the founding producers of the worldwide comedy sensation The Pajama Men. Their production of Blood of the Lamb won the Critics Award at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe.
