Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Australian Arts Review

Christmas Projections on Melbourne Town Hall photo by Rohan ShearnAustralian Arts Review would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.

I would like to thank everyone who has continued to support us over the past 12 months. From the many artists, publicists, producers, venues, and you, the reader – without your support, Arts Review wouldn’t exist.

In particular, I would like to thank our small team of reviewers – Lee Andrews, Paul Bard, Michele-Rose Boylan, Nicholas Carr, Craig Dalglish, Rhonda Dredge, Tahney Fosdike, Keith Gow, Doug Knight, Jeff Lang, Patricia Maunder, Daniel McInnes, Anne-Marie Peard, Gavin Roach, Betty Samis, Paul Selar, Bill Stephens OAM, Daniel G. Taylor, Eleni Vettos, Guy Webster and Jason Whyte for their support, dedication and commitment.

In 2024, we celebrated our 11th Anniversary. Our readership continues to grow and we managed to publish 1665 posts – 14% more than 2023.

Already 2025 is shaping up to be a very exciting year, with a number of major musicals, large scale events and festivals happening around the country. A number of significant visual arts exhibitions continue throughout Summer.

Arts Review will continue to support the professional, independent and emerging performing and visual arts sectors through editorial coverage and reviews. Our ever popular On the Couch series will also return.

Arts Review will be taking a short break over the Festive Season and will return on Wednesday 8 January 2025 – though look out for a couple of special features we will publish in early January.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
