At the height of summer when the tomatoes are at their best, join La Nonna for the sauciest day of the year.
Centered around the age-old tradition of the ‘sauce day’ – La Nonna invites you to La Mama Theatre, in the heart of Little Italy, for the beautiful ritual of chopping, crushing and bottling the summer’s tomatoes.
With storytelling, dance, music and food, La Nonna’s Saucy Sauce Day will forge a new kind of family tradition. Performed by Samuel Dariol and Anna Cerreto, this is a queer family Festa you don’t want to miss!
