Jon Stevens and Kate Ceberano set to share their greatest hits live on stage

Superstars Live Jon Stevens and Kate CeberanoIn an iconic pairing, two of the most powerful voices in Australian music are ready to light up the stage together in Superstars Live – set to kick off in October 2024.

In their spectacular new Superstars Live show, Jon Stevens and Kate Ceberano will perform spine-tingling hits including the ARIA Award-winning Everything’s Alright and I Don’t Know How To Love Him – songs that helped make them household names.

The new tour will take in six states and the ACT with nine shows featuring iconic hits like Jon Stevens’ Touch and Take Me Back and Kate Ceberano’s Bedroom Eyes and Brave. Superstars Live comes more than 30 years after the Australian arena phenomenon ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ toured starring John Farnham alongside Stevens and Ceberano.

“Kate and I can feel the energy from the crowd when we perform the JCS hits together. Delta bought us together last December for her Christmas special and requested that we perform Everything’s Alright – and the response blew us away,” said Jon Stevens.

“It was magical, and afterwards we had so many people – Delta included – tell us we should do more with it. This encouragement, and the fact that it’s the 50th anniversary of Jesus Christ Superstar, created the seeds from which the Superstars Live show has grown. We can’t wait to take it on the road.”

In a special tribute Stevens and Ceberano will also honour Australia’s The Voice and original Superstar, John Farnham whose rendition of Jesus in the 1992 version of Jesus Christ Superstar is one of the most iconic performances in Australian theatrical history.

“Jon and I have been great mates for a really long time now, and have shared the stage together,” said Kate Ceberano. “But we’ve never done a full show like this one.”

“We’ve always had an awesome reaction to performing the JCS songs together and with Delta’s encouragement the time was right for us to take it to the next level and put together a full show”

“We both have so much love for John Farnham and the incredible experience we all shared and all these years later that remains as a cherished memory.  We’re excited we can bring that back for those who saw us in the original production, and for a whole new generation,” said Ceberano.
