Get ready for a night of unforgettable laughs as Jake Howie takes the stage in his highly anticipated live stand-up comedy show, Jake Howie Burns Bridges Live on Stage, at the Enmore Theatre this May.
Known for his sharp wit, irreverent humour, and fearless approach to comedy, Jake Howie is set to deliver an evening that will have audiences howling with laughter.
Jake Howie Burns Bridges Live on Stage is not your typical comedy show. With his bold style and unapologetic delivery, Jake brings his unfiltered perspective on everything from modern culture to personal anecdotes, and even the occasional “burning of bridges.”
At 40, Jake takes audiences through the timeline of his life with hilarious and relatable stories about the people, places and things he should’ve burnt bridges with.
From being a teen in the early 2000s to dating in London in the 2010s to tales of middle management in the 2020s, Jake delivers a cathartic and relatable show the invites audiences to burn bridges to a better future, with Jake at the helm.
Whether he’s poking fun at social norms or cracking jokes about his own life, Jake’s humour resonates with anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider or laughed at the awkwardness of life.
“Comedy is all about taking risks and pushing boundaries,” says Jake. “Burning bridges is what I do best, and this show is about embracing that unpredictability in life with the audience.”
“You can expect a lot of laughs, and who knows… maybe a few uncomfortable tales of how I overcame my fear of burning a bridge or two.”
